Petoskey’s quaint downtown is within walking distance and boasts an eclectic selection of restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques, as well as street fairs, festivals and a seasonal farmers market.
Buffalo Wild Wings & Corktown Pizza are sponsors of the 2023-2024 Timberwolves seasons. Located 2 miles from campus and with late night hours Buffalo Wild Wings & Corktown Pizza make for the perfect post game meal.
Outdoor Recreation
The Little Traverse Wheelway follows Little Traverse Bay from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs. Separate trails will take you through the Bear River Recreational Valley.
Petoskey’s Winter Sports Park offers outdoor hockey, ice skating and sledding in a lovely setting featuring a log warming house.
There are three world-class ski resorts within 20 miles of the college: Nub’s Nob and Boyne Highlands in Harbor Springs and Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls.
Miles of snowmobile and cross-country ski trails are located near campus.
The Arts
Petoskey's Gaslight District features concerts, art shows, movies, festivals and more throughout the year. Enjoy fine art exhibits at Crooked Tree Arts Center, and concerts, plays and films in its 260-seat theater.
Located in Bay Harbor, the Great Lakes Center for the Arts boasts a beautiful, 525-seat theater and year-round events in music, dance, theater, film and education.
