Heather Miller joined the Timberwolves staff in August of 2023. Not a new name to the Petoskey Volleyball community, Miller coached within the Petoskey High School Volleyball program for 22 years, 13 as head varsity coach.

While at Petoskey High School she led the program to 2 Big North Conference titles, 4 District Championships and PHS’s first and only Regional title in volleyball – in a year where they made it to the state quarterfinals. Miller was twice named the MIVCA Region 3 Coach of the Year.

Prior to coaching, Miller competed at Hillsdale College as a Right Side Hitter where she was a 4 year starter, the team’s Most Valuable Player and Academic All American. She received numerous GLIAC Player of the Week awards during her tenue. An alum of West Ottawa High School, Miller earned Class A 2^nd Team All State Honors and took her team to a Final Four appearance during her senior campaign where they team dropped only one game all season.

Miller earned her MA in Education from Marygrove College and holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Hillsdale College.
