Men's Basketball Fight Hard In The Conference Opener

Petoskey, MI – The Timberwolves faced off against Mid Michigan College in their conference season opener. Although the Timberwolves took an early lead, the Lakers fought back, finishing the first half ahead 37-25. Despite a strong second-half push by the Timberwolves to close the gap, their 68 points were not enough as Mid Michigan claimed an 88-68 victory.

The Timberwolves showed great determination and will use this experience to fuel their efforts as they continue through the season.

Statistical Leaders 

• Jalen Williams (Joliet,IL/Joliet Central) led the team with 24 points, 7 assists, and an impressive 0 turnovers.

• Thomas Conzelmann (Frankenmuth,MI/Frankenmuth) contributed 16 points and 7 rebounds.
