Men’s Basketball Falls to Stormers in Final Minutes

Escanaba, MI – The Timberwolves (0-9) traveled to Bay College to participate in the Terrace Bay Hotel Holiday Classic where the met their first opponent the Stormers of Milwaukee Area Technical College (5-10). Both leads held leads throughout the game with the Timberwolves largest lead of 11 points occurring in the second half. Unfortunately, a late run in favor of the Stormers brought them back in the lead and they would take the game 82-77.

Statistical Leaders
  • Jaeden Williams (Merrillville, IN/Merrillville) scored his career high 37 points. This is the second highest points in one game by a Timberwolf in program history.  
  • Jackson Wiegerink (Holland, MI/West Ottawa) had another double double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
  • Quentin Hillaker (Macomb, MI/Cardinal Mooney Catholic) was also in double figures with 11 points.
