
Men's Basketball Start Strong but Fell Short Against Muskegon
Petoskey, MI- The Timberwolves opened their game against Muskegon Community College with confidence, maintaining control of the ball and taking an early lead. They found their rhythm and held onto it for much of the first half. However, as the clock wound down, the Jayhawks gained momentum and closed the gap. By halftime, Muskegon had pulled ahead with a score of 23-29.
In the second half, the Timberwolves struggled to maintain their rhythm. They had difficulty advancing the ball, often passing it back and forth while trying to break through Muskegon’s defense. Despite their efforts, the Jayhawks’ strong play allowed them to maintain the lead, with the Timberwolves falling 56-61.
