Men's Cross Country places 13th at Region XII Championshiop
Goodells, MI – The Men’s Cross Country team finished in 13th place at the NJCAA Region XII DII & MCCAA Championship race at Goodells Park today.
Zach Maendel (Petoskey/St. Michaels Academy) ran the third fastest time in NCMC history to lead the team with a 26th place finish. Fellow sophomore, Truman Maher (Sault Ste. Marie/Sault Area), ran a strong race and was the second finisher for the Timberwolves with a time of 33:44.
Two Timberwolves set new personal records during the final race of the season:
Benjamin Knott (Pellston/Homeschool) ran a time of 34:31 and
JT Greenier (Boyne Falls/Boyne Falls) finished with in 37:47. This new PR for JT is two minutes faster than his previous record showing great growth throughout the season.
