Women's Basketball Earns Spot in Post Season Tournament
The Timberwolves (5-23, 4-10) finished 5th in the MCCAA Northern Conference and have qualified for the NJCAA Region XII Great Lakes District Tournament. North Central will travel to the #2 seed, Muskegon Community College, on Tuesday, March 4th for the play-in game for this post-season tournament. Should the Timberwolves win that game they will travel to Mott CC for their next round.
Having faced one another twice already this season, including yesterday, the Timberwolves have their work cut out for themselves. But as the saying goes – in the post season anything can happen.
Congratulations to the Women’s Basketball team on qualifying for the tournament for the first time in school history. The 5th place finish in the MCCAA North is the highest finish yet and was accomplished in Coach Michael Glass’s first season at North Central.
