Timberwolves Season Ends on the Road
Muskegon, MI – The Timberwolves Women’s Basketball team ended their season with a loss in the Quarterfinals of the NJCAA Region XII Great Lakes District A Tournament against Muskegon Community College (23-5). The Jayhawks were again receiving votes in the national rankings this week and for the second Tuesday in a row the Timberwolves had to make the long trek down to Muskegon for the game.
North Central executed a game plan that saw great improvements compared to a week ago, but it wasn’t enough as the hosts won the game 73-42. Strong defensive efforts from the Timberwolves kept the Jayhawks leading scorers well below their game averages.
